I find that there are fewer patterns in this issue of Manequim, and I think that the construction of the clothes is simpler than the usual elaborate pieces that the sewers everywhere seem to like so much... I liked only a few clothes, but the ones I liked, I LOVED! There are some flowery fabric clothes in the magazine that I am not posting, and some kids clothes, but none of that either.
I liked the colors of the dresses worn by Fátima Bernardes more than the dresses themselves, but I am posting them because I think that Fátima is a real inspiration! She was the Newswoman for Jornal Nacional (the biggest audience tv news program in Brazil) for 14 years and we love her!
Amei o vestido listrado plissado!
Than there is a "summer dresses" article and again, I loved the fabrics! And I ask you again, do you find these wonderful fabrics in your countries? Because we don´t, :( .
The fashion designer that inspired this article is Miu Miu, and I loved the clothes so much I wish Manequim had a "Fashion Packet Thingy" I could order all of the 6 pieces in my size and have them delivered right at my doorstep, along with the accessories! The good news is that there are 4 clothes with patterns (the white skirt and the flowery blazer don´t have patterns, but I can use some other magazine...) !
what did you think of the October issue?
