I totally and utterly love sparkle, in case you haven´t noticed, lol. I think a little shine makes almost everything look great- well, what doesn´t look great if shiny? I am working on some more embroidery right now, and I must say I like the result so far. I made a shirt dress using a beautiful white cotton that has these tiny motifs woven into the fabric and thought it would be really nice to use the motifs as a "grid" for embroidering crystals. I chose clear round faceted crystal beads and I am hand-sewing them in big diamond shapes. Of course it is taking me a long time to complete my project as the skirt is full, but for sure I´ll post the finished dress when I'm done. What really wows me is that if you look at the dress you almost don´t see the beads, but as you move, they catch the light and twinkle in this most beautiful way. Besides, it is very unusual to see crystals on a white cotton dress, isn´t it? Take a look at how it is turning out:
Falou em brilho, cristal, glitter, paête, é comigo mesma! Eu simplesmente amo - ah vá, jura? Sério, eu pareço uma mariposa voando em volta de uma fonte de luz quando vejo algo brilhando. Bom, lógico que tudo com moderação, rsrsrs! Bom, fiz esse vestido chemiser com a saia franzida usando um algodão branco maravilhoso que tem esses desenhinhos na trama e estou os usando para bordar umas contas de vidro transparente lindérrimas. Está demorando muuuuuito, mas está ficando super legal por dois motivos: primeiro, é totalmente inesperado, e segundo porque quando a gente olha a roupa de frente praticamente não vê os cristais, mas quando o vestido se movimenta, a gente vê esses brilhinhos lindos em todo o vestido! Quando ficar pronto é lógico que vou postar, mas deem uma olhadinha. Tô amando!!!
