At HOME with MARIMEKKO

I am totally in love with this statement print from MARIMEKKO. I brought a Unikko 50th Anniversary fabric back from my last trip and had it framed. The design I chose is actually gold and dark purple version of the iconic flower, and I lovelovelove it and the effect in my living room!  

Eu sou loucamente apaixonada pela MARIMEKKO, e trouxe esse tecido maravilhoso que foi uma edição especial de 50 anos do design Unikko, que é essa flor icônica. Meu tecido é roxo escuro e dourado, e eu mandei colocar numa tela e simplesmente amei essa imagem gigante na minha sala!!!!

PATRONES Magazine

One of my favorite patterns magazines is the Spanish PATRONES. Take a look at this jaw-dropping edition (347). Can you read the dresses designers? ;)))

A revista de moldes espanhola PATRONES é uma das minhas preferidas. A revista teve altos e baixos nos últimos anos: as edições eram grossas, tinham uns cem modelos, as roupas eram de designers tipo Chanel, Armani, Valentino e afins. De uns quatro ou cinco anos para cá, ela deu uma decaída, mas continuava muito bonita. Recentemente voltaram a publicar moldes de roupitchas de designers. A PATRONES está à venda nas bancas do Brasil, e também tem assinatura, mas chega um pouco atrasada: a última edição disponível é a 345. Mas essa que estou publicando, a 347, mondiê, que maravilha!!!!!! E preste atenção nos estilistas dos vestidos ;)

This month´s "Sempre Bem Vestida", the former designer inspired spread, is a Plus Size wardrobe. This spread is usually my favorite, because I love seeing the different styling ideas for the same pieces. I also like the Manequim articles where they show the same pieces in two ways, like the mother/daughter section at the end of this post.
