HEART PULLOVER

I knitted this fluffy white pullover some time ago and only recently have I had the chance to wear it. The material is a hairy yarn with some golden specks on it and it is unbelievably soft! I incorporated a very thin lame thread to make the heart (you can see the back of the work below). And I know that in the pictures everything looks yellowish, but the pull is WHITE.

Essa blusa de tricô eu fiz há um tempinho e estava esperando um "friozinho" para usar. O fio é peludinho, fofíssimo e tem uns douradinhos e prateadinhos aqui e ali. O coração eu tricotei acrescentando um fio de lamê super fino - dá para ver a parte de trás do trabalho na última foto. E nas fotos a blusa parece meio amarela, mas é branquíssima. 

Balance is the key for everything: with a bulky top, a skinny botton. I wear my big pullover with skinny black jeans and black boots.  

Já que a blusa é grossa, o legal é equilibrar com peças sequinhas, como uma skinny preta e botas pesadinhas.

RENDA D'OURO

I made this lace blouse (SEEN HERE) a long time ago using PATTERN 120 from Burda Style 01/2011. I like pairing it with jeans -what else?- heels and a bag that are all pretty much the same color: gold! (Of course I wear a camisole under the top) 

Eu fiz essa blusinha (VISTA AQUI) há tempos e usei o molde do MODELO 120 da Burda Style 01/2011 e é claro que uso com jeans! Daí é só combinar a bolsinha e os sapatos no mesmo tom ouro da blusinha

CASAQUINHO CHANEL e BLUSA de GAZAR de SEDA

One of the joys of sewing, at least for me, is wearing the clothes I made that turned out great again and again. Of course you need good quality fabrics and classic patterns to be able to do that. I made this little bouclé jacket (seen here before) two years ago now, as well as the the silk gazar blouse (seen here), using Burda Style patterns - there you have it, that´s why I love Burda so much, the clothes are classic and timeless! 
Well, if you read this blog at all you will know that I will wear jeans absolutely every chance I get, so of course I wore my classic and ladylike clothes with a destroyed boyfriend jeans, high hells and a bag that is as beautiful as it is ooooooold! :))))))))))))) 

Eu acho o máximo quando algo que costurei ficou bom e dá para usar de diversas maneiras e várias vezes. Uma das razões de eu amar a revista Burda é que os modelos são bem clássicos e atemporais, dá para aproveitar muuuuito as roupas - se usarmos tecidos de qualidade, é lógico! Esse casaquinho ( visto aqui) eu fiz há dois anos, assim como a blusa (vista aqui)!! As peças clássicas e femininas contrastam bem com a calça jeans rasgada. Taí uma combinação que adoro! Aí acrescentei o sapato lindo e a bolsa antiquíssima e adorei!

TRICÔ ISLANDÊS

I knitted this Iceland sweater using a pure cotton yarn, so the sweater is chunky and just warm enough for our weather. I love the unusual orange -unusual for this type of folk sweater- that makes the whole piece pop. I also think that thick pieces go well with skinny jeans and heavy boots. And if it gets any colder, just add the windbraker. Going back to the color, isn´t it a beautiful combination (orange and black)? 

Eu tricotei esse suéter estilo "islandês"- os desenhos das barras e do decote redondo definem esse estilo- usando um fio grosso de algodão, então o suéter dá certinho para o nosso invernico... Eu achei legal também a cor laranja, que não é tradicionalmente usada nesses tricôs, e que deu um super contraste e faz a peça bem moderna. E eu acho também que um tricô grossão fica bem combinado com uma calça bem justa e botinhas. Ah, outra peça que acho que todo mundo precisa ter, apesar de não ser comum aqui no Brasil, é uma jaquetinha "windbreaker" super esportiva. Para quem viaja bastante então, é uma peça imprescindível: ocupa muito pouco lugar na mala, não precisa passar, e é extremamente prática se chuviscar ou se ventar muito e mantém a gente bem aquecida se usada por cima de suéteres e pulôveres de tricô.

CARDIGÃ PRATA

Eu acho que quando me visto as duas coisas que mais me chamam a atenção, ou me inspiram, são, bom, primeiro, aquilo do que gosto, é lógico, e é sempre jeans, estilo meio hippie, meio romântico, meio rock'n roll, brilhos e detalhes, tecidos luxuosos e texturas e segundo, contrastes, sejam de cores, materiais e estilos, mesmo, como nessa produção, jeans e paetês.

Eu acho bem legal usar um jeans com sandália simples e algo com volume e/ou detalhes na parte de cima, e foi isso que fiz nesse look:  a calça preta e sequinha combinada com a sandália super simples de uma tira só fazem um contraponto bonito com o top de babados- a blusa é de chiffon, os babados não fazem quase volume- e o cardigã de lantejoulas que tem o caimento pesado.  Aí acrescentei essa clutchizinha rosê, um do dois únicos ponto de cor na produção, e o colar compridíssimo de borla, que amoamoamo! 

The most important things to me, stylewise, are first, wearing what I like, and that´s boho, gypsy, romantic, a little rock'n roll, shine, details and texture and luxurios fabrics and of course colors and second, contrast. I love the contrast between the simple jeans and sandals from this outfit and the "elaborate" top, :)
I paired a basic black straight leg jeans with a strappy black sandal and contrasted that with a ruffled top ( the blouse is chiffon, so there´s almost no volume) and a sequins cardigan that is a little bit heavier, and added two points of color: a pink clutch and a long rosé tassel necklace.

CASAQUINHO de OURO II

I made this golden sequins jacket some time ago (first seen here), and I really like it, and I wear it in many different ways and have lots of fun with it! Here it is paired with destroyed boyfriend jenas - which I love - a very sheer little embroidered chiffon top, navy blue high hells, a leather messenger bag and tons of Swarovski bracelets. I love jeans and wear them with everything and I love the contrast of textures, shine and "weight" of materials...  The little jacket just makes everything soooo beautiful! How do you like it?

  

Eu A-M-O o meu "casaquinho de ouro"! Ele deixa qualquer look lindinho que só (tem um post dele aqui). Como eu adoro jeans, eu o combinei com um boyfriend rasgado, uma blusinha de chiffon toda bordada, sandália azul marinho, bolsa de couro e MUITAS pulseiras... Eu adoro o contraste das texturas, brilhos e "peso" dos tecidos! E aí, gostaram?

BLUSINHA VINTAGE com PRETO!

This is the same romantic blouse seen here, but in a styling idea that is a little bit more polished. Again, I love the contrasts: the colors - balck and white- and materials - sheer feminine silk and lace and heavier jeans, leather and metal. And as much as I love sparkle and jewelry, I kept it simple with stud earrings and one huge ring, smoky eyes and hair down (there you go, my first make up/hair tip!)

De novo, amo os contrastes, aqui das cores, preto e branco, e dos estilos, a blusinha super romântica e transparente com as outras peças "pesadas": jeans, couro e metal. De bijus, só um par de brinquinhos pequinininhos e um anelaço enorme, cabelos soltos e olhos esfumaçados- minha primeira blogagem de maquiagem/cabelo :))))))))

BLUSA de GAZAR

This sweet little off-white pure silk gazar top was made and embroidered by me, hehehe, but I simply can´t remember which pattern I used! I like going all "70-ish" and "hippie-ish" when wearing it, because I like the contrast with heavier pieces.

Eu fiz e bordei essa blusinha de gazar de seda super romântica e doce e gosto de usá-la com peças mais pesadas para dar um contraste. 

But disaster struck and I only after the top was ready I saw there was a hole on the back, yaiks!!! Well, I cut off a butterfly from the lace I used on the front and sewed it over the hole and now there´s a flying butterfly in an all unexpected place. I love it! 

Infelizmente quando a blusinha estava pronta eu vi que tinha um buraco nas costas... bom, resolvi o problema costurando uma borboleta da renda que usei na frente por cima do buraco. Agora tem uma borboletinha "avoando" pela blusa, amei!

BLUSINHA BRANCA com CRISTAIS

  

I made this blouse using pattern 106 from Burda 04/2013, but I placed the neckline pleats

(are those pleats, English-speaking people?) turning them out instead of in like in the original model. The fabric I used is a cotton silk blend that is very light, somewhat sheer and it has some sheen and is beautiful! Then I embroidered the blouse as seen HERE and a little bit here HERE. Now the funny thing is that some of the crystal clusters appear to be like really away from whatever line there were supposed to be in, but that´s just the effect of the extra fabric on the front of the blouse in the picture. No, I am not THAT blind, lol!  

I would of course wear jeans with that, wouldn´t I? I like how the colors are repeated in the checked ballet flats and the green suede of the blouse, and there you have it, a really colorful outfit that doesn´t look it, or a white blouse, blue jenas outfit that is actually full of colors. And tons of bracelets...

Fiz essa blusinha usando um algodão com seda levíssimo e seguindo o modelo 106 Burda Style 04/2013, mas fiz as preguinhas do decote para fora, e não para dentro como no modelo da revista. O tecido é maravilhoso, meio transparente e com um pouco de brilho, mas eu quis dar um toque e bordei com cristaizinhos, como mostrei AQUI (também dá para ver um pouquinho da blusa AQUI). Os cristais não estão em fila retinha, não, só parece assim na foto porque o tecido sobra na frente da blusa... e é engraçado porque alguns cristais parecem super fora de qualquer posição intencional, tipo como essa doidinha não viu que aquele montinho ali está TÃO deslocado, hehehe.  

Bom, e como meu negócio É jeans, taí o luquizinho blusa, jeans, sapatilha e bolsa! Adoro a repetição de cores na sapatilha xadrez e o verde da bolsa! Ah, e muiiiitas pulseiras coloridas...

BATINHA HIPPIE!

I have been blogging about boho things for a while and it is my favorite style after all, so I wore this totally hippie inspired outfit the other day. I made the tunic using a beautiful pure silk musseline that is sheer and flows away...I think it looks great paired bootcut jeans, red leather boots, a leather jacket, tons of big necklaces and bracelets and a floppy HAT!!!! ;)   

Eu tenho postado muita coisa no estilo hippie e aí me inspirei para criar esse luquizinho: uma batinha super esvoaçante de uma musseline MARA que eu costurei, jeans, botinhas, uma jaqueta, MUITOS colares grandões e um chapéu molenga azulão, bom, porque... por que não? :))))
